The Tays JH Library is celebrating March Madness with our very own book battle.

Students will vote for their favorite book this year.

We start with the Sweet 16 books and then narrow it down

to a grand champion on March 26th.

The TJH Library Staff kicked off the 5,000 Page Challenge in January.

We are encouraging students to read 5,000 pages this semester.

Students will earn prizes for the different levels of pages they read.

Some of the prizes include a TJH drawstring bag and a snow cone party!

Happy Valentine’s Day. The TJH Library is celebrating with Blind Date with a Book! Stop by the library to pick up your date with a good book!

The library staff will be hosting its fall Scholastic book fair from October 29 – November 1st.

The book fair will take place during the school day in the LGI.

All students will attend the fair with their ELA teachers.

Tays Junior High is excited to have Jennifer A. Nielsen visit on Thursday, October 18th.

Students who have read one of her books will be invited to the author visit.  Some of her popular books include:

The 5,000 Page Challenge will end on Friday, May 11th.  All forms are due at that time.

The Cici’s party will be held on Friday, May 18th during advisory

for those that reached the 5,000 page goal!

All book clubs will meet during advisory on Monday, May 30th for our end of the

year celebration.  Reminder passes will be handed out 1st period on May 30th.
